Welcome to Khulkar Seekhen. This Privacy Policy governs the data collection, storage, and usage practices for our website (https://khulkarseekhen.com) and all our associated mobile applications published on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store (including, but not limited to, our Master NCERT app, Class 10 English, Class 9, 10, 11, 12, etc Solutions apps, collectively referred to as “the Apps”).
By using our website or downloading and using any of our Apps, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information Collected via the Website
- Comments: When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, and browser user agent string to assist in spam detection.
- Media & Cookies: If you upload images or leave comments, standard website cookies may track your preferences and session state for convenience.
- Account Registration: For users that register on our website, we store the personal information provided in their user profile.
B. Information Collected via Our Mobile Apps
Our Apps are built using the Expo and React Native frameworks. While they pull content directly from our WordPress site via secure APIs, they also process specific device-level data:
- Device Information: Using
expo-deviceandexpo-constants, we may access non-personally identifiable information such as your device model, operating system version, and unique device identifiers to optimize app performance. - Local Storage: We use
@react-native-async-storage/async-storageto cache user preferences, bookmarks, and app settings locally on your device. - Push Notifications: We use
expo-notificationsto send updates about new notes, solutions, or exam updates. To deliver these, a unique, non-personally identifiable notification token is securely generated for your device.
2. Third-Party Services & Advertising
We partner with third-party service providers to monetize and analyze our platform. These third parties may collect information directly from your web browser or mobile application.
A. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website to collect and analyze information about user traffic. Google Analytics uses web cookies to track user interactions.
B. Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) & Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense on our website and Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) via the react-native-google-mobile-ads package across our Apps to display advertisements.
- These SDKs automatically receive your IP address, device type, and network state (
netinfo), and mobile ad identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID / AAID and Apple ID for Advertisers / IDFA). - These identifiers are used to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, prevent fraud, and limit the number of times you see an individual ad.
- Depending on your device settings and age, these networks may serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements.
3. Children’s Privacy (Under 13 & Minor Students)
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.
Our website and Apps provide educational resources (NCERT and Board solutions) widely used by school students.
- We do not knowingly collect or request Personal Identifiable Information (PII) from children under the age of 13.
- Our mobile applications are configured to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play’s Families Policies. Where applicable, our ad systems are set to request non-personalized ads and tag ad requests for child-directed treatment for younger demographics.
- If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately, and we will purge it from our systems.
4. Data Retention & User Rights
Data Deletion & Access Requests
- Website Data: Users can request an exported file of their personal data or request that we erase any data we hold by contacting us.
- App Data: Our apps do not require user accounts to access educational material. However, if any of our apps store personal data, you can clear all app-related data at any time by clearing the App Cache/Data in your mobile device’s settings or by uninstalling the application.
