Inside the room, he finds a man named Max standing with a pistol in his hand who has come to collect some secret documents from Ausbal. Ausbal deals with Max very cleverly and tactfully and got rid of him by trapping him in his story. This proves the fact that Someone’s appearance can be misleading. Ausbal, who looked extremely fat and scruffy, was actually a clever and master detective.
