Ans. Through the poem ‘Fire and Ice’ presented, the poet wants to give the message that desire and hatred are the two biggest enemies of man. They can destroy the entire human race. The first of these enemies is desire. A man becomes greedy by wanting more. This creates discord among the people and they start fighting among themselves. This leads to the destruction of man. So thus we can say that ‘Ice’ be as ‘great’ and ‘suffice’ for causing the end of this existing world. Yes, I agree with this view of the poet.
